To be an effective component of the overall project delivery plan, the pre-construction process must expand beyond the traditional estimating exercise. Our pre-construction teams collaborate to define the overall construction approach, schedule and purchasing methodology, collectively these components directly impact cost.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

The heart of general contracting is relationship management and communication. We must know, understand and anticipate the needs of our client, architect/engineers—along with the needs of our own subcontractors and field staff. Keeping everyone on the same page, pointed in the same direction is key to successfully completing projects on time, on budget and ultimately providing great construction experiences. 

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Cost analysis, identification of alternatives, products, labor and material availability, and project schedule are considerations within this approach. Our role is to investigate and suggest viable alternatives to reduce cost while maintaining design intent, quality,  and our client’s goals. During the value analysis review, costs relating to construction, maintenance, operation, and replacement are considered.
