Construction elements consisted of a Varco-Pruden®, pre-engineered steel structure. Exterior materials included texture clad paneling. The building was winner of the 2008 VP Buildings Hall of Fame—Distribution Center Category.

Summary: Ascent was the General Contractor for the construction of the 9,761 SF CMU, 3-bay Fire Station with a Varco-Pruden®, pre-engineered apparatus bay. The exterior includes outdoor and parking area lighting, a metal seamed roof and aluminum storefront windows in the 2-story entrance mezzanine. The Fire Station has a kitchen, break room, six-dorms, and workout area with tile, concrete and carpet floors.

Summary: This 73,000 SF, facility was the second project completed by Ascent Construction for Metro Waste, LLC. The Varco-Pruden®, pre-engineered metal building project included a combination of clear span and modular primary building frames within the 200-foot wide building, with a 32-foot minimum clear height at the lowest structural point.

Summary: This project included construction of a new 8,539 SF refrigerated food warehouse and office located in West Haven, Utah. The building construction consisted of a pre-engineered metal Varco Pruden® building, with an E.I.F.S. and masonry façade.

Summary: This Facility is a new 4,000 SF, Varco-Pruden®, pre-engineered building with E.I.F.S. and masonry exterior finishes. The project included conference/training area, locker rooms, exercise room and offices. This building was the 2007 VP Buildings Hall of Fame—Government Category Winner.

Summary: This 11,925 SF warehouse was constructed using a Varco- Pruden®, pre-engineered metal structure. The project included all site work, utility setup, concrete pad and paving, overhead doors and dock and associated interior finishes and safety striping. The structure contains office space as well as storage for the Utah State Hospital.

Summary: This new design-build project included a boat maintenance facility and a processing plant for brine shrimp products. The exterior of the facility utilized CMU and cast-in-place concrete. The entire 46,000 SF project used pre-engineered Varco-Pruden® structural steel and incorporated a drive-in processing freezer.

Summary: Ascent was the general contractor for the construction of the new 15,000 SF Carbon County Search and Rescue Sheriff Intake Building, the project consisted of a Varco-Pruden®, pre-engineered metal building for offices, training areas, restrooms, secure holding rooms, 14 storage bays with overhead access doors and elevated security systems. The facility also included concrete slab on grade, with an unfinished space that will eventually be developed as a locker/change area.
