Summary: Ascent was a general contractor for construction of the multi-phased, 266,000 SF, design-build project. Ascent was responsible for all site work, grading, and land improvements prior to the commencement of facility construction. Additional scope requirements included specialized concrete including 10” thick with two layer #5 rebar and oversized anchor bolts, reinforced loading bays, safety posts, cutting, burlap curing, high-wear floor sealant and anchor systems for material storage and delivery.

Summary: This new 115,000 SF concrete tilt-up manufacturing plant and support office facility is part of the Pennsylvania-based kitchen and bath company. Included in the 115,000 SF are high-stacking storage, warehouse space, conveying systems, vehicle storage and maintenance areas, manufacturing areas and 15,200 SF of office space. Exterior elements included glass vestibule, tilt-up wall finishes, security lighting and air filtration systems. This building received an Intermountain Contractor Best of 2007 Award.

Summary: This Project consisted of a 28,000 SF, cGMP warehouse and sample room located at the existing facility. Interior remodel elements include cement work poured at an 80 level for air pallets, high–speed fire suppression systems, electrical service upgrades, restrooms, clean room, warehouse storage and racking, new interior walls and new mechanical with seismic-zone upgrades.

Summary: This 73,000 SF facility was the second project completed by Ascent Construction for Metro Waste, LLC. The pre-engineered metal building project included a combination of clear span and modular primary building frames within the 200-foot wide building, with a 32-foot minimum clear height at the lowest structural point.

Summary: Ascent was the general contractor of this 10,000 SF, refrigerated food warehouse which was completed in June 2006. The exterior building construction consisted of metal studs with architectural metal panels and masonry. Interior construction included conveying systems, freezers, high-pile storage, offices and support areas. This was the third facility completed in Utah by Ascent for The Schwan’s Food Company.
