WSU Stewart Library Renovation

Summary: The renovation of the Stewart Library involved demolition of the existing main entrance to the library, constructing a new entry and entry security system. Interior renovations included a new 3-story entry, glass and metal way-finding stair, relocation of circulation desk, new interior finishes and some site modifications and upgrades to fire sprinkler system.

Box Elder High School Addition

Location: Brigham City, Utah

Project Owner / Client: Box Elder School District

Architect: VCBO Architects

Summary: As the General Contractor Ascent performed the remodel of the existing machine shop, storage areas and provided the addition of a new classroom. The project also included an IBC upgrade to the gymnasium, addition of an ADA ramp and accessible doors.

Con Amore Training School

Location: Myton, Utah

Project Owner / Client: Duchesne County School District

Architect: Naylor Wentworth Lund Architects

Summary: As the general Contractor, Ascent provided improvements to the Con Amore School 15,744 SF addition. This addition consisted of classrooms, a special needs area, custodial rooms, multipurpose room with athletic flooring, faculty break room, restrooms and a mezzanine mechanical room. The project also includes upgrades and some re-configuration of 5,685 SF of the existing facility. All improvements used structural steel and masonry materials.

Utah State Development Center Boiler Replacement

Location: American Fork, Utah

Project Owner / Client: DFCM

Architect: Tracy Stocking & Associates Architects

Summary: Replacement of the existing Heating Plant serving the campus including the construction of a new building, new steam boilers and associated equipment, new electrical systems, extension from the Heating Plant to the existing tunnel, site landscaping, and the installation of new sewer line connecting to the sewer main for American Fork City.
