LEED is a recognized rating system for environmentally sustainable construction. LEED was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council in 1998 and stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. Adhering to LEED standards and achieving LEED certification is the industry accepted standard that defines a building as being truly “Green”.
Building “Green” is a core value at Ascent. We feel a personal and corporate responsibility to think about the future and do what we can to protect and preserve the environment. We follow best practices at work and approach each project with a focus on constructing environmentally-friendly and sustainable buildings.
Ascent has built several buildings to LEED standards. Three of these buildings have received LEED certification. Having this extensive knowledge and experience has prepared Ascent to be a LEED construction leader in providing superior construction services that benefit our communities.
